Recap of the 2023 Conference and Committees Elections

Dear Academy Members,
 
The 2023 Academy of Aphasia conference in Reading, UK was a big success! Thanks to Arpita Bose and her outstanding team at Reading for hosting us. Over 240 participants attended the meeting both in-person and virtually. 
 
We look forward to seeing all of you October 18-20th, 2024 in Nara, Japan!
 
Other important notes:
  1. Thank you for voting for the next board members of Academy of Aphasia. The current/new members of the board can be found here.
  2. The conference program committee has also expanded, and can be found here.
  3. The nominations committee includes. If you are interested in serving on one of the committees, please email Steve Majerus. We are looking for members in all committees. 
  4. Last but not the least, the Academy of Aphasia Student Prize is Elizabeth J. Anderson, from San Diego State University. Title: Speech error monitoring in individuals with left hemisphere stroke-induced lesions including or not including the posterior temporal cortex (poster) - Elizabeth J. Anderson
