Academy of Aphasia Membership and Fellow Status

Membership

Membership in the Academy of Aphasia is open to anyone who is interested (regardless of academic position) by paying an annual membership dues of $100. Active members are entitled to attend and vote during the business meeting at the annual conference, as well as any other vote that requires membership approval. Paid membership BEFORE SEPTEMBER 18TH entitles you to MEMBER REGISTRATION RATES for the conference. 

Fellows of the Academy

If you are a paid-up Member of the Academy for 2019, 2020 and 2021, you will automatically be listed as a Fellow according to the Bylaws amendment passed in 2020. To pay for membership, follow this link. Senior and Honorary Members will be considered Fellows as well.

Other individuals who have been paid-up members for 3+ years can apply to become Fellows of the Academy. To apply to become an Academy Fellow, you must send a message to the Academy Administrator (Mejrima Cosic academyofaphasia12@gmail.com) with the subject line "Fellow Application", indicating your name and the names of two current Fellows who support your application.
