Membership
Membership in the Academy of Aphasia is open to anyone with an interest in the field, regardless of academic position. Annual membership dues are $100, and membership runs on a calendar-year basis from January 1 through December 31. Active members have the right to attend and vote during the business meeting held at the annual conference, as well as participate in any additional votes requiring membership approval. Members are also eligible to receive discounted member registration rates for the conference.

Fellows of the Academy
Fellow status in the Academy is available to members who have maintained continuous paid membership for at least three consecutive years and who hold a PhD. To be considered for Fellow status, applicants must be supported by two current Fellows of the Academy. Applications are reviewed and voted on during the business meeting at the annual conference.
To apply to become an Academy Fellow, please send a message to the Academy Administrator (Mejrima Cosic academyofaphasia12@gmail.com) with the subject line "Fellow Application", indicating your name and the names of two current Fellows who support your application.
